“I believe that the most compelling aspect of our school is that we are a public high school whose mission is to serve students who have an unusual commitment to training in the arts. Being a part of the school is not based on money, or who you know or where you come from, but rather what you want for your future. As a result, the student body is a collection of young people who love what they do and are living in a community with one another and gaining from one another’s experience. This sense of ‘being in it together’ rubs off on everyone here, and it is this sense of working together towards a common goal that is core of our successes.”
