SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Foundation Elects New Members to Board of Directors

The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Foundation is excited to announce the addition of five new members to its board of directors. With three-year terms that began in July 2024, these individuals will support the Foundation’s mission to enhance awareness and generate funding for the state’s only public residential high school for the arts. These individuals will bring their passion, skills, and perspectives to the board, enriching the Foundation's efforts to support arts education across the state. 

"We are thrilled to welcome these five exceptional individuals to our board of directors," said Amanda Herlihy, executive director of the SCGSAH Foundation. "Their diverse backgrounds and shared passion for the arts will undoubtedly strengthen our initiatives and help us continue to provide outstanding arts education throughout South Carolina."

Fain McDaniel, chair of the board, added, "The unique insights and expertise of our new board members will be invaluable as we strive to elevate our programs and outreach, especially as we celebrate the school's 25th anniversary. Their commitment to the arts and education will drive the Foundation’s mission forward."

The new board members are:
    •    Thad Dulin of Greenville, SC – Financial Advisor, UBS Wealth Management
    •    Kevin Mihaly of Greenville, SC
    •    Alfred Mitchell of Greer, SC – Raw Materials Buyer, Michelin North America
    •    Eleanor Winn Nordholm of Greenville, SC – Corporate Attorney, Wyche PA
    •    Lisa Sheehan of Spartanburg, SC


In addition, Dulin has been appointed to the role as treasurer of the board and will lead the finance and audit committee in its efforts to provide short-and-long term financial oversight for the Foundation. Dulin brings over 14 years of experience as a financial planner, which will help the Foundation continue its fiscal strength.
